Anastrozole ( Arimidex-1mg ) belongs to the drug class non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor. It is a drug that works by boosting testosterone and decreasing estrogen levels in men causing diverse actions. In men, anastrozole is also used to treat conditions related to excess estrogen production, primarily in the context of hormone therapy for certain types of hormone-sensitive cancers or medical conditions.
It is considered one of the best aromatase inhibitors for me of all others aromatase inhibitors.
What is Anastrozole?
Anastrozole, sold as Arimidex, is a class of drugs responsible for blocking the action of aromatase enzymes. It is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the biosynthesis of estrogens, which are a group of hormones responsible for various physiological processes in both males and females. This enzyme is part of the cytochrome P450 family and is encoded by the CYP19A1 gene.
Aromatase converts androgens (such as testosterone) into estrogens (like estradiol) through a process called aromatization. This conversion primarily occurs in certain tissues, including the ovaries in females, testes in males, and peripheral tissues like adipose (fat) tissue.

I noticed a big difference in controlling water retention and overall balance. It worked well, but I kept my dosage low and checked bloodwork regularly.

Very effective at keeping estrogen in check. It improved how I felt during the cycle, but I wouldn’t recommend using it without medical guidance.

Did exactly what it was supposed to—helped manage side effects and kept things steady. A powerful tool, but something to use carefully and responsibly.
